In reply to new antidep/mood stabilizer with Parnate, posted by peanut2 on May 19, 2018, at 0:27:48
Hi!
Welcome back.
> I'm glad the board is back up. I have been out of the loop for 2 years. During that time, have there been any new mood stabilizers or (especially) antidepressants that are safe to take with Parnate? I am insanely depressed, but I still think the Parnate is working and want to stay on it. I have tried most of the antipsychotics, but if there happens to be a new one that is particularly good for bipolar disorder (usually mixed), feel free to let me know.
I'm currently having luck with Saphris (asenapine) for bipolar depression. It is an antipsychotic with antidepressant properties that you can take with Parnate.
