Perphenazine does not produce weight gain or diabetes. It is good for anxiety and delusions. I would call it a medium potency antipsychotic. Another option would be to cross over from Seroquel to Saphris. Saphris does not produce weight gain and is supposedly good for both depression and delusions. I don't know about anxiety per se, but it does block 5-HT2 and other serotonin receptors. This might confer some anxiolytic action.

Regarding OCD, Zyprexa has been reported to be helpful as an anti-obsessional. I could find nothing that would lead me to believe that perphenazine is as helpful.
Can you describe what you experience as OCD?
Is there any way to get you off of Effexor and on Luvox? You could bring the Luvox on board first and then try cutting down the Effexor more rapidly.
