Does low functioning/low receptors cannabinoid system cause anything else besides low functioning NMDA system?
I think low cannabinoid function leads to low AMPA activity right? What about the other 2 glutamate receptors are they being affected too and are they involved in fear learning? Because I know low function of the cannabinoid can lead to an enlarged amygdala which I think is due to low NMDA.
What can low cannabinoid receptors cause in the brain? Low AMPA is good because the more its activated means more fear learning but the LOW NMDA is bad because it leads to an enlarged amygdala. NMDA when activated Heavily surpressed the amygdala.
