Mianserin might be more sedating than mirtazapine. You might consider combining mirtazapine with vortioxetine so that you can block 5-HT7 receptors and stimulate 5-HT1a receptors, along with inhibiting serotonin reuptake. It's an interesting idea, but I have never seen it done.
