it happened with me, tons of people said similarly that it boosted their dopamine, then it leveled off.....bupropion is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor, but its weak compared to others, it increases more norepinephrine which is why it can skyrocket anxiety, the other med that is slightly similar to Wellbutrin, is Effexor, it's energizing and effective for difficult depression. wellbutrin i remember i couldn't take naps on it, it would always kinda keep me on edge. Things that are similar but a stronger effect are stimulants, and parnate.
effexor has good energize effect, also less anxiety than wellbutrin, wellbutrin is mild stimulant, it is a DRI dopamine reuptake inhibitor, but its mild mild form.....to me it's like a cup of coffee in the morning, wake up and have a little increase in gettings things done. They used to use wellbutrin at 600-900mg i read in medical articles, and they had to decrease and take off the market because of seizures, reintroduced it i think in 1989, with 450mg being the max
everything can change like that, and all these years go by so fast, but nothing lasts forever
