Good day everybody, my first post here. I've been treating anxiety/depression for over 2.5 years now. I feel that the depression is always more noticeable when i'm calm; when i'm anxious it's like there's no space for the depression and I end up feeling mainly the anxiety. Have tried a lot of drugs and other therapies. Right now i'm taking 150 mg/d clomipramine, 15 mg/d buspirone, 10 mg/d abilify and 80 mg/d propranolol. I live in Brazil and would like to try a MAOI, but never met a doctor willing to prescribe it.
Right now the anxiety appears to be under control, so i'm noticing the depressive symptoms more - anhedonia, lack of energy, lack of motivation and difficult concentrating, as well as suicide thoughts. Yes i'm seeing a psychiatrist.
Would like to know some thoughts and opinions about add-ons and other treatment options so I can go to my appointment tomorrow with some suggestions. I'm also having neurofeedback sessions.Thank you.
