300mg was just standard dose for me, i would wake up and take and go to class, i would be slightly more enhanced to do work, its like a cup of coffee....but higher doses of bupropion are not good, seizure threshold decreases significantly, anxiety and that feeling before you have a seizure, dissociated, is what Wellbutrin is like at higher doses above 600mg. I also rerember i could not take naps on wellbutrin, it would keep me awake, i could not sleep during the day at 450mg. It works wonders for low moods with low energy
