i've been trazadone, it's wellknown and prescibed in psych hospitals and rehabs as the first choice medication, almost 0 addiction potential, it just makes you just sleepy and groggy....i was on 150mg in 2005, it just yea...makes you sleepy like an anti-histamine effect, nothing like benzos ... it blocks serotonin retake, but also slows down the release of it, so their would stable amounts of serotonin, but anti-depressant wise, using it alone for depression does not work as well, they have the extended release of it, which would work all day, but trazadone main thing: sedation
almost all doctors i've had use it as first choice for sleep aid
everything can change like that, and all these years go by so fast, but nothing lasts forever
