lumateperone

Interesting drug. I would try it myself if I were not taking a MAOI. Lumateperone is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. When it is combined with a MAOI, there is a risk of setoronin syndrome.

The one thing I didn't see was the blockade of 5-HT7 receptors as is seen in aripiprazole and lurasidone. Vortioxetine, an antidepressant, also blocks 5-HT7. Researchers think that this property contributes to antidepressant action.
