I'm also very interested in this particular drug.
It's been a long time since i was on an anti-psychotic but this one here seems like a well tolerated due to it's not so strong antagonism on dopamine = a small risk for eps and dystonia like symptoms.
I will be on dexamphetamine SIC for amphetamine addiction and I really need one AP that is not messing with the dopamine as much as lets say fluphenazine or perphenazine that I've been on before. I really likes trilafon though but the occular crisis is unbearable..But when i took trilafon and metylphenidate, it worked pretty well actually.
First and most important = no medications the first clean month too see if my delusional thinking fades, then if they're still there, yeah asenapine is definetly an option.
But what i long for the day that it will be nmda-antagonism instead of dopamine-blockade.
I was doing so very very good on memantine but my doctor don't want to write a script.
Sorry for hijacking your thread.
Hope someone with information writes a journal or just they're experiences.
Kind regards/J
Ps. Trilafon completely eliminated the paranoid thinking when i was in a drug induced psychosis for a long time. Too bad on the side effects though. [tip]
