Hey,

Maprotiline is very strong on norepinephrine reuptake. It may benefit you, or you may need something a bit more 'balanced' to serotonin and norepinephrine. Imipramine, or amitriptyline are decent options.

There is nothing wrong with maprotiline, it's probably worth a shot. Depending how you respond however, you may need to combine it with something serotonergic.


One thing to keep in mind, is that although clomipramine is primarily a SSRI, it's metabolite is primarily an NRI. Over time, you tend to get a more balanced reuptake.
