We have some medicines in sweden that is herb or flower-based (but are not covered by health insurance), and one is Passiflora incarnata-extract. it is a pill that contains 425 mg of dry extract (it's 2-3 grams of dried flower), and it's an very mild maoi to, and binds with little affinity on the benzodiazepin-receptors.
But i know they don't make you crave for drugs for me at least, cause if things are otc in sweden, they are usually very waek, but it could work. (we don't even have codein in cough medicines otc, nothing, not even diphenhydramine and that stuff.)
You could maybe take a look at that.
It has some harmala-alkaloids in it but very very little, and as you probably know that are the natural maoi :-)
