You are but one of many.

You are not somehow special in wanting to communicate with Lou Pilder.

I don't blame you for being both empathetic and noble. I don't blame you for anything. However, I think you will come to see what those that came before you have.

Removing Lou Pilder's name from the subject line when you reply to him is of paramount importance. Just look at the ugliness of the board as it exists. It looks like cancer. It dissuades people from choosing to post on Psycho-Babble if it appears that it is dedicated to issues surrounding Lou Pilder. It's basic psychology.

Lou Pilder is a disgusting little troll.

"In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion,[3] often for their own amusement."

"Regardless of the circumstances, controversial posts may attract a particularly strong response from those unfamiliar with the robust dialogue found in some online, rather than physical, communities. Experienced participants in online forums know that the most effective way to discourage a troll is usually to ignore it,[citation needed] because responding tends to encourage trolls to continue disruptive posts hence the often-seen warning: "Please do not feed the trolls"."

Why don't you support me by chastising Lou Pilder when he posts uncivil and untrue things about me? Think about it.
