can you get an Rx for a different bzd? I found equivalent doses of ativan got the job done w/o the mood dampening effect. Valium is still popular in some countries, and it also does the job w/o near as much depression. xanax/xanax xr would obviously be a good choice if low mood is a problem.

I don't know about countering the low mood. That seems like a bad idea, intuitively. Having said that...maybe wellbutrin? Just a random thought.
