what other meds are you taking? My concern is...well, you seem prone to akathisia with the newer meds, so the older ones are probably a no-go. The other issue is that you are female with a mood disorder, so your risk of long term problems (tardive dyskinesia, for example) is higher than, say, a male with schizophrenia.
If benzos help but you're still anxious/nervous/restless, you should talk to your doctor. You may want to consider a dosage reduction and maybe see about options that aren't neuroleptics. They're not for everybody.
There is a newer round of atypicals now...Vraylar, Rexulti, Latuda, Saphris...maybe some others I don't remember...one of those might be the way to go, if your insurance will cover it (increasingly an issue for a lot of people).
Akathisia can sometimes become long lasting, even permanent (tardive akathisia), so I think (personal opinion) you should see about a dose reduction or a switch. Simply suppressing the akathisia seems like a bad idea, especially since you have other options and you don't have a psychotic disorder.
Good luck!
