I take: 1200/trileptal, 100/lamictal, 30/abilify, and 400/wellbutrin. I mean, that's more meds than I'd like, but..it works, quite well.Only problem is I have some residual low mood stuff, despite the wellbutrin and lamictal (the abilify could be helping, too, but I was under the impression that @ 30mgs it was more anti-manic/anti-psychotic than anything else...).
Do you think going to 150 or 200 on the lamictal might be a good idea? Thing is...when trileptal was added to the abilify, I was tired for a while. Then the lamictal was added to the abilify and trileptal, and I was less depressed, but had cognitive problems and sedation. So, enter Wellbutrin SR, which has been a godsend.
Point is, I don't want sedation and/or cognitive problems. I also don't want to add in a 5th daily med for depression, especially since SSRI meds don't do it for me over the long haul.
The depression and everything else is vastly improved on meds. This isn't a crisis situation by any means. I'm just wondering...well, I'm wondering if there's a way to go from "good response" to "remission."
