I guess I have a love/hate relationship with Ritalin. I love that it clears my mind, energizes me, and allows me to focus. However I dislike the crash when it wears off, and I hate that I crave it at times just to feel "normal".

Always nice when a med trial goes the way you hoped it would.>
> Thanks for your response. How did you psych consultation go?Well thank you for asking. I told pdoc how I was feeling and asked about Lamictal. I also asked him what his diagnosis for me was and he said MDD. He upped my Ritalin from 60mg day to 90mg, and increased my klonopin from .5mg per day to .5mg 3x day. He said we'd talk about Lamictal the next time I come. I was too chicken to bring up the Nardil. Not sure about that yet anyway.
I have the feeling its gonna be a long process getting him to consider other meds. But I'm going to be much better prepared next time from what I've collected here.
Thanks,
Jade
