If I remember correctly, Cylert (pemoline) is a passive dopamine releaser used primarily as a treatment for ADHD. It is significanly different from amphetamine and methylphenidate in this regard. I tried it in the 1980s to no effect.

I don't know what the statistical risk of hepatotoxicity is.
