My thoughts regarding resveratrol are not unique.
PDE4 inhibition -> cAMP increase -> second messenger cascade -> BDNF increase -> hippocampal neurogenesis.

Resveratrol might best be used in conjunction with drugs that exert antidepressant effects. Desipramine maybe? Beta-adrenergic receptors are involved according to one study.
I'm going to try it. I just took my first dose.
