I found the same thing to be true of the Teva generic version of Lamictal. I also tried the Mylan version. It was if I were taking nothing at all. Interestingly, the consistency of the Teva tablets were similar to the brand name. It was somewhat soft and chalky. The Mylan product was very hard.
