What my pharmacist says about serotonin syndrome.

Posted by former poster on November 23, 2015, at 15:34:18

I told him I was advised by a credible source that the combination Emsam and Luvox are dangerous because of serotonin syndrome. His reply was:

"It's very rare"
What symptoms should I watch for?
"Dizziness, over-stimulation, feeling like you had too much caffeine".

I have never -not- been "dizzy, over-stimulated, feeling like I had too much caffeine" while I was on AD's. When will I know for sure if serotonin syndrome is starting? Or do I have it all the time and not know it?
