Have you discussed with your doc the list of nootropics/supplements which you take? Did he give you green lights on this? I think that most pdocs will not even know stuff like ALCAR or Racetams and know what exactly they do in the brain.
I just started Effexor (SNRI) and now I'm not really sure if it's safe to keep taking some of the supplements which I took before which are:
ALCAR
N-Acetyl-Tyrosine
Choline
DMAE
Taurine
I don't even have to ask my pdoc about any of this cause he won't have a clue.
