Keppra can make you sleepy. I never experienced goofy feelings when I took it-i'm sure they'll go away.

I'm surprised your doctor doesn't prescribe Keppra ER. You can take split doses or you can take it all at night. It does help with sleep.

Remember, 3000 mg is really the best dose for bipolar disorder.
