In reply to should we all take a bit of lithium? i think yes!, posted by Lamdage22 on August 2, 2015, at 13:55:02
just allow it to be sold on the shelf at walmart with other supplements.
with the flouride thats supposed to protect you from cavities. ive actually stopped brushing with flouridated toothpaste. a few weeks ago i stopped using toothpaste completely, and now just use bar soap instead. in the past i had read about people doing this and i was considering making the switch to bar soap for a while until i started getting toothaches a lot where i have a cavity. my toothaches were happening more and more often no matter what i did. then i made the switch to bar soap and the day after my first night of brushing with it, my tooth wasnt hurting as bad. and within a few days my toothaches stopped completely.
so, simple bar soap with no flouride beats the flouridated toothpaste that dentists insist is so great. but my teeth are do so much better with simple bar soap.
and now these folk looking to make a connection between improved health and lithium, have supposively found one in seemingly the same manner they did with flouride. and want to add higher doses to our water. i think this would be a petty attempt at improving anyones health. the nation can do so much better than that. instead of spending a generation coming out with "me too" treatments, more funding and higher standards could be set for those developing the treatments for mental illness.
thats my 2 cents
