5 weeks is long enough. Receptor reregulation can occur in as little as 2 weeks.

Perhaps the rebound anxiety is the result of the loss of 5-HT2a blockade.

Even low dosages of Seroquel are very antihistaminergic. You might possibly be experiencing a histaminergic rebound effect. My guess is that insomnia and anxiety would be the result. However, I have not found any precedents for this in the literature.
