Reducing Lamictal fog...provigil?

Posted by porkpiehat on July 24, 2015, at 8:05:36

Does anyone know if Provigil can reduce the cognitive problems caused by Lamictal? I can't come off it without becoming so dysphoric or I would. And oddly now after ten years on it I get a major dip in cognition and energy, combined with irritability for a few hours after taking it.

Unless of course I take it at night and then it keeps me up. The further away I take it from my Celexa the better. The above symptoms are terrible when I take them together now. There was a time when the mixture was quite activating, although that was at twice the level of Celexa.

Anywhoo Neurobehavioral testing I just had ruled out any disorders aside from inattentiveness and executive functioning, which get unbearable an hour after lamictal. These seem ripe for Provigil unless the cause is from something completely unrelated to provigil's mode of action
