To make ADHD stimulants work better, I would look at two angles. One, provide more raw ingredients for the desired neurotransmitter activity. Second, experiment with other substances to find one that synergizes with it. Ideas would include Rhodiola, high EPA fish oil, Co-Q10, Berberine....it is a difficult topic, difficult to treat...pretty much throw the theory book and articles out the window because what ends up helping you the most is not likely there.
Things that need to be tried are things that improve the environment DA operates in (such NAC to clean up toxic debris) or berberine, or co-q10....none act directly on DA, but greatly improve its function by cleaning up the work area and infusing it with more energy and activity.
Strategies to boost neurotransmitter levels are the most common but honestly I have seen those strategies not help, create more problems, or poop out.
