Hello123,

I generally seem to be affected by medications in ways that are outside of the norm, and so, even though I did respond to Nardil temporarily, I wouldn't necessarily expect you or anyone else to respond to the medication in the same way that I did. When I began taking Nardil, I started off with the Australian Nardil and recall spending at least several (probably six or more) weeks at 60 mg without a response. Then, I increased the dose to 75 mg. I noticed the sleepiness that I tended to get after Nardil dose increases for about two weeks, and then as that wore off, I started to notice a reduction in the severity of my anergic depression. So, it basically took about two weeks at 75 mg of Nardil for me to start noticing what seemed to be antidepressant benefits. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the response that I noticed for a little while on Nardil to persist, and because of this and also because of other problems I had with Nardil, I eventually ended up discontinuing the medication.

As far as nausea is concerned, I can't say how likely it is that that particular side effect of yours will subside with time, because I don't think that I personally experienced any nausea on Nardil.

Finally, I'm sure that you probably already know this, but do be careful when taking over-the-counter medications along with Nardil. I'm not sure exactly which over-the-counter medications are safe and which ones aren't safe, but I think it's good to always be cautious and to check on the safety of combining medications with MAOIs before going ahead with such combinations.

At any rate, I hope that you're feeling better now than you were earlier, and I hope that you'll also get some more definitive answers on your question about the nausea side effect that you're getting.
