no, no concern aboit bipolar. my mood/energy/motivation stays between flat and extremely flat. im just going to pay close attention to how emsam effects me since ive never taken an maoi before. tho emsam has been found to be safer, especially at lower doses, regarding food interactions compared to oral maoi's.
also, im thinking the pdoc im seeing now is my favorite out of about 6 ive seen in the past 5 years. hes not afraid of his own shadow to prescribe certain meds that can be risky. seems to be well versed in mental health treatment, with a logical view of it. and so far, i havent had to repeat something we discussed at the last appointnent, or even 5 minutes earlier in the appointment, like ive had to with every other pdoc ive seen.
