I find that, for severe major mood disorders, psychotherapy doesn't do much if you don't work on your neurobiology first. I don't mean to say that psychotherapy is without value during a major depressive episode. It just won't make you feel much better. However, it can give you a head-start on healing and growing when the depression is brought to remission via somatic treatments. That said, growth can be slow while depressed and rapid while euthymic.

In what ways does Zyprexa help you. How would you characterize the place it has in your treatment? Does it produce weight gain?
Thanks.
I wish for you continued health.
