The approval of new drugs is done by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for all member states of the European Union, including Sweden. Vilazodone has not been approved by the EMA, and I wasn't even able to find information as to why not or whether an approval is sought by the patent holder.
However, most countries allow the importation of medicines from other countries under certain circumstances. This usually involves a bit of paperwork, but it can be done.
I hope this helps!
