yeah, psychiatry destroyed me. ive told you about my experience in the past and you choose not to believe it. i was 17 and yes i chose to take the medication. long story short, i grew up a normal kid and about a month into trying these meds, my depression went from what i see now as mild depression caused by normal problems growing up, to being dysfunctional and feeling tortured by my emotions. and after stopping the meds, i stayed like that.
go ahead and blame it on an underlying imballance. but that just means you will continue to be in denial. sure, im just someone on the internet. and you shouldnt believe everything you read online. but, there are many stories online with victims describing how they decided to try psych meds because they believed them to be safe and effective. only to have their lives changed for the worse, with this change being seemingly permanent long after stopping the meds.
and why arent experiences like this expected? after all, we are taking these dumbed down, man made chemicals that are fundamentally a "one size fits all" approach to altering the function of what is as far as we know the most complicated thing in the universe, our brains.
be thankful you havent experienced any life ruining effects from what chemicals youve altered your brain functioning with. but theres a big world out there, filled with millions of genetically different folks, whose brains will react differently to these chemicals.
and the problem is, people arent informed of the worst things these chemicals can do. such as before the suicide warning wasnt put on them, most who took them were clueless about this effect. informed consent changes everything.
