Thc does not equal cbd. They both have different potencies at the multiple receptors they interact with. Certain strains of canibus will have more cbd vs thc, but as most people over the years have smoked due to the enjoyable and pain receiving effects of thc, most strains have higher ratios of thc than cbd. A strain with more activity of cbd vs thc would not get you high at all if their equality were to be the case.

As for your statement of thc not effecting psychotic of schizoform disorders, that is false, as several sources have shown that the presence of thc can exacerbate and potentially erupt symptoms of the disorders.

If you are truly keen on treating a schizoform disorder through cbd to gain the benefits of potentially no weight gain or other metabolic disorders then it would be best to use just that and no other substance.

Also realize besides the price, pure thc is also not something that is risk free, as unlike antipsychotics it is a fairly potent antiandrogen(meaning your t levels will decline significantly) and an immunosuppressive agent(potentially leading to increased infections).

Ultimately just be careful when using recreational drugs to treat any disease, as they are recreational for a reason. For example as a sufferer with extreme ocd, I have read that one mushroom trip can cure my ocd yadadya.... Although this could be the case chances are the true risks of such a trial could very well outweigh the half year of being free of ocd. Another example is the person who drinks to relieve anxiety....most of these cases never end up being the right one.

Regardless I wish you luck with whatever you so choose to do, but just be careful and try to discuss this with your doctor before you decide to engage in it.
