i've noticed it now, i take the prozac in the morning, and it seems to be resistant, but the lamotragine does have an antidepressant effect, with my situation at home, i feel trapped, and nothing but doom gloom feeling, but i took it 2 hours ago......it did something to where im not bothered by heaviness of depression, it's different than an SSRI, it works like stabilizes which SSRI's and antidepressants by themselves can cause more side effects, mania, thought disturbances......lamotragine stabilizes and has a moderate antidepressant effect....the effect is is not like a prozac caffeine lift, it levelizes the nueros....not really increase serotonin, just make to where it's normal and feel normal, but not euphoria.....prozac and other antidepressants can improve mood through increase in serotonin.....lamotragine just levelizes it.....
