lamictal update/questions

Posted by b2chica on March 27, 2015, at 23:13:27

so this is week...three. taking 50mg in the am and 25 in the pm and gabapentin PRN usually 1-2/day (at 300mg).
i'm still cycling about every two days.
yesterday i was actually able to clean the entire house, today i was baking and straightening.
i still hate mornings. they are HORRIBLE. if i can sleep till about 10:30-11, i can make it through the day kinda ok. but if i dont (on the low days as i cycle) than my whole self aches, aches of sorrow, dullness, nothingness... to not move from the couch, sometimes i cant even stand watching tv, i just want to do absolutely Nothing. just stare...better yet, sleep.

anyway. on monday i can start 50mg in am and 50mg pm. so i will Finally be up to 100mg/day.
i am really hoping this helps me.
i'm scared that if it doesn't i'll have to waste another month getting OFF this and probably another month (or prob longer) trying something else before i feel reprieve.
im' really not feeling too optimistic.. i guess thats too much effort... (only half joking).

anyway,
do most people start to really notice difference at 100mg or do they need to be at 200 before they notice.

ALso, what is the highest people can be on?

thanks
b2
