lamictal and gabapentin?

i have still been taking gabapentin about 1-2xday for the last week for anxiety and some mood uplift.
my pdoc was not doing much (ok, nothing) to assist so i finally requested lamictal.
but forgot to ask if i should halt gabapentin when on lamictal.
any suggestions. i've got a call in but haven't heard back and i'd really like to start lamictal today but have already taken gabapentin.
