I suggested the change to Aplenzin 522mg. from generic Bupropion XL 300mg. This hbr dose is equipotent to 450mg. of the generic hcl formula; therefore I had a significant increase in the amount of bupropion I was consuming daily.
Do I think the hbr is better? Yes, I do. Aplenzin uses an advanced release system that is far better than generic, and it also seems to be more smooth. I suggest Aplenzin if you're switching from the XL formulation. But, I must warn you that it is not cost friendly.
