Hi,
I thought I would share my experiences with Ketamine. I've been pretty much taking Seroxat and Zyprexa (now and again) for the past five years but never have a lot of energy or get up and go and I still smoke far too much and find it difficult to just sit and be.
As I heard such great things about Ketamine for depression I found a Doctor in New York and he agreed to treat me with it. I wasn't feeling too bad when I went to New York and managed to actually get some pleasure out of the trip itself so I wouldn't say I was terrible. Anyway, I had three treatments of infusions. I have to say having the infusions was a pleasurable experience, I could have sat there all day having them, everything seemed more interesting, my thoughts seemed more interesting, I would have been quite happy to just sit there thinking all day whilst I was having the infusions. However, I didn't feel any better after the treatment had finished so I would definitely say I didn't feel better for 7 days afterwards (which is how it is supposed to work). Then again I wasn't feeling that terrible when I had them so the fact that they didn't work that well for me wasn't that devastating.
