nice. this med seems unique enough to help those that havent responded, or havent responded wellenough to current meds. but my pessimistic mindset still wants to see something comepletely different from whats on the market today, with an entirely new Mechanism of Action. I see current meds like a car platform developed in the 1960's thats still being used to build "new" cars on today. sure, the car might be shiny and run smoothly. but its still going to have a lot of shortcomings compared to cars developed on a newer, much stronger, yet lighter weight platform (if that makes sense). and unfortunately any new "platforms" when it comes to new meds.
i guess this thought process comes from the endless amount of meds that have failed for me. i think tge next revolution in psychiatry will come from Gene Therapy, or technology that can be used to develop a medication that targets a persons condition. rather than one med used to treat millions of different, unique brains. id say these things wont be available for at least 20 years.
