I think we're only so far looking at 2 examples of stimulants (and their stereoisometric formulations): regular amphetamine and methylphenidate. I think methamphetamine is a different story -- include therapeutic Desoxyn as well. It for me produces a mood-brightening effect that is present among activating the working guns of the brain. Especially at higher doses and depending on the sway of the wind, this effect can preside over the other effects, causing me to be content staring at a wall or simply doing rather than caring about the productivity of the activity or the result. "Regular" or dextro-amphetamine requires me to actually think to welcome the addition of the drug into my mindset.

They say methamphetamine produces weaker activity localized to the prefrontal cortex compared to dextroamphetamine, but it is still a hell of a stimulant. It is perhaps stronger on the dopaminergic side relative to adrenergic properties in comparison to dextroamphetamine and has a notable serotonergic properties that do not so much as characterize the pharmacological profile of dextroamphetamine.
Dextroamphetamine fights the battle eyes pierced to the enemy lines and minds set on the coreography. Methamphetamine does the same while kicking back with a beer at the same time.

Also the AD effect of Desoxyn when combined with MAOIs and TCAs is quiet, well.. AD-like. Perhaps I might actually get more done on Vyvanse or Focalin, but the anxiety relief with the Desoxyn combo is too important for me to find out. Or that's the addiction --> honesty.
