I encourage you to do your own research before making any changes. One important source of information is your doctor.
In the past, you described that Trileptal made you feel more depressed.
By the way, Trileptal is said to have the potential of producing agranulocytosis. This is written in the black-box warning from the manufacturer. Again, like valproate, this is a rare occurrence.
Another unsolicited piece of advice that I have for you is that you try to reign in your anxiety and impulsivity. You are not going to die between now and when your doctor gets back.
