Vitamin D and dopamine

Posted by K2 Advocate on August 15, 2014, at 0:32:42

I found a posting from 2010 about someone asking about vitamin D effects he was noticing, helping him, but increasing his cravings for smoking.
I HIGHLY recommend the book "Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox" by Dr Kate Rheaume-Bleue, ND. Available online. She talks about many things related to this issue. Vitamin D requires Mg to be absorbed properly. Vitamin D has many actions and vitamin K2 'activiates' proteins, etc that vitamin D and A are associated with. It's all related to calcium and whether it goes into your bones (if you have A, D, K2) or if it goes into your tissues (without K2). I was looking for a connection between dopamine and vitamin D or A or K2, and this posting I found tells me there is some connection. I will keep looking. Amazing book. RUN to the store....without K2, we get calcification of arteries, calcificiation of skin (wrinkles), calcification of brain (Alzheimers, mental decline and possibly neurological diseases), calcificiation of kidneys. Taking sufficient K2, with correct amounts of vitamin A and D (and Mg, C, B6.....)can reverse the calcification and put the Ca in your bones/teeth.
