It is "OK" because you must ask yourself: will I be able to sustain vilazodone therapy without the use of stimulants?
If the answer is no and vilazodone therapy concomitant with stimulant medication improves your quality of life then I would say that it is OK under the direction of a qualified doctor.
Consider dexmethylphenidate IR (Focalin) or other instant release stimulant remedies.
