I've thought of doing this too. Yes, it would be two MAOIs at the same time. Right now, however, the plan to augment the Parnate I am taking--which is not working particularly well--is to take Mirapex, a dopamine agonist used for Parkinson's patients. I also take an atypical antipsychotic (Fanapt) to help out the Parnate.

I haven't noticed any dangerous or creepy interactions with Parnate and sympathomimetic drugs. I've taken Sudafed with it, for example, with no problem. But people's mileage may vary.
