Yea I know it's something to avoid but I've been drinking crystal lite on Marplan since I started it in 2010 w/o any BP increases. Never really thought it about it potentially adding to the AD effect until I stopped taking it in Jan for 3months to see if it was causing me to gain weight.Definitely a good idea to monitor the BP though. I had a cuff when I first started MAOis in 2010. Now I just make sure to use the BP machine at the grocery store when I go a couple times a week. I drink Aspartame daily (2 to 4 16oz water bottles of crystal lite) and always have BP in the low range (120/80ish). I was on lithium w/ Marplan for a little while and that definitely increased my BP a little more than I was comfortable....(140/100ish)....
