And i bet some of those "lasting successes" are placebo as well. Antipsychotics do something, Antidepressants are most effective at filling their creators wallets.
How can you keep looking for that pharmaceutical miracle?
We are not wired that way. There is alot more to mental health than a few neurotransmitters.How can you expect that this stuff will change anything long-term? Over and over and over again.
Yeah i trial those meds, too.. I cant see harm in doing so. Exept for MAOI which launched me into my first psychotic episode.
But i dont cling to the idea that i may have full remission. What is full remission? Happy all the time, successful all the time.. tons of friends and a wonderful romantic relationship?
Not needing any discipline? Not needing any social support? "Auto-mode"?It seems really unrealistic to me what some folks seem to seek in medication.
