I tried Viibryd. I responded to it partially for about a week. It had no sexual side effects. It was a pretty clean drug.
Personally, I would have chosen Brintellix before Viibryd had it been available. Biologically, it does what Viibryd does plus a few more things. Of significance is the ability of Brintellix to block serotonin 5-HT7 receptors. So, Brintellix might be thought of as supercharged Viibryd. Still, it is conceivable that you would respond better to Viibryd than to Brintellix. We still don't know enough about how antidepressants work to be able to predict with certainty how any given individual will respond to each of them.
