What is relevant too you, Phil, is that I am diagnosed with a concomitant Bipolar disorder. Initially, it was II, but it is now NOS.
I have noted I complete more activities while administrating amphetamine salts; therefore, the dopaminergic effects are certainly felt by myself. My personality does not have much anger in it, Phil, but I can't predict what might occur if I was placed into a situation like the one you were in.
You obviously noticed your bipolar symptoms arising in 2002. You can't go back in time, but perhaps you should have iterated those symptoms more to your PDOC for a better evaluation in 2002?
In 2004, now diagnosed with BPII, how has your treatment progressed?
What medication are you currently prescribed, and what symptoms of BPII persist despite any psychiatric therapy?
I am sorry about the incident with your friend, Phil. Trust me, we all make mistakes!
I would advise you to be more cautious with consumption of amphetamine salts in the future; perhaps, you should avoid them completely or significantly reduce your dose. Consider an alternative like Nuvigil (armodafinil). It might not exacerbate anger like Adderall does. At the same time, it could treat the symptoms you needed the Adderall to alleviate. It is something to consider with your doctor.
You're not "crazy", Phil. Glad to have you back on the board.
Please stick around!
