I don't have a definitive answer for you. I will say that Risperdal can produce anxiety early in treatment. It most often disappears by itself.Are you taking Risperdal for depression? Perhaps you are discovering what it is like to live without depression. However, there may be other explanations. I am not familiar with mania being triggered by Risperdal. I found only one report on Medline describing this, but it did not include an abstract.
