I think mileage varies widely with nortriptyline. For me it was sort of neutral, maybe felt slightly energizing at times and slightly sedating at other times. I never got over 20mg though so I am probably not a good example.
My blood pressure is low. On nortriptyline it was lower and I got a slight bit of dizziness sometimes. Since you are already on a med that causes low blood pressure and dizziness, might have to be cautious and just be aware.
